The Human Resources Department is currently accepting applications for Electrical and Instrumentation Technician I/II in the Operations Department. This recruitment may be used to establish an eligibility list for use to fill future vacancies.
Under supervision, performs skilled duties related to the maintenance, design, installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of telemetry systems, instrumentation (flow meters, pressure transmitters, analytical analyzers, etc.) , process control systems, electronic and electrical components associated with the District’s water and wastewater treatment plants, water distribution systems, recycled water systems, solar arrays, and electrical systems 600VAC and down, such as: ATS/MTS, generators, electrical motors. The ideal candidate would possess a high degree of skills in instrumentation calibrations, controls, and troubleshooting.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (day shift)
Rotating Standby Frequency: One week every five (5) weeks at a minimum
Standby Pay: Compensated hourly at the standby rate while on standby status
