Job Description

The Non-Profit Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, and administration of programs, events, and operations for the organization. This role ensures effective communication with stakeholders and contributes to fundraising and outreach initiatives that advance Images of Hope’s mission of providing healing arts to support all people on the western slope of El Dorado County affected by cancer or other traumas. 

This is a 12-month contract-to-hire position. Successful candidates may be offered direct employment based on performance and organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Program & Event Coordination

  • Plan, organize, and execute programs, workshops, and events that align with the organization’s mission.

  • Track program outcomes and maintain accurate records for reporting and evaluation driving adjustments to optimize efforts.

  • Collaborate with volunteers and partners to ensure program quality and impact.

Volunteer & Community Engagement

  • Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers.

  • Foster strong relationships with community partners, donors, and stakeholders.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for community outreach initiatives.

Fundraising & Development Support

  • Assist in fundraising efforts, including grant writing, donor communications, and campaign coordination.

  • Support donor stewardship by preparing thank-you letters, reports, and updates.

  • Maintain donor and sponsor databases to ensure accurate tracking of contributions.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Oversee operations, including scheduling, communications, and documentation.

  • Manage organizational databases, mailing lists, and records in compliance with policies.

  • Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and expense tracking as needed.

Communications & Marketing

  • Draft newsletters, social media posts, and promotional materials to increase awareness.

  • Update the organization’s website and digital platforms with current information.

  • Represent the organization at community meetings, events, and networking opportunities.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for community service. Should be proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace, notably databases like Excel or Sheets and CRMs. Work experience or solid educational background in nonprofit and/or nonprofit programs is beneficial.

 

Hours: 10-20 hours/week 

Pay Rate: $30/hour (1099)
