Job Description

This is an entry level role in a well-respected membership organization devoted to advocating and promoting a strong, healthy and diverse business community in El Dorado County. 


Position Summary:

This position has a strong focus on customer service providing helpful information to visitors, residents, and members.  It serves in a supporting role to a small friendly team but reports directly to Chief Executive Officer.  Primary responsibilities include answering phones, develop and implement digital communications including social media profiles (Facebook & Instagram), emails & newsletters.  The role includes program coordination and documentation duties. Strong organization and communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks is required. 

Responsibilities:

  • Answer the phone
  • Frontline customer service
  • Update content on El Dorado County Chamber website
  • Maintain community calendar
  • Respond and fulfill visitor guide and relocation requests
  • Order office supplies
  • Receive & process mail
  • Develop, schedule & implement email communications to database
  • Coordinate social media posts
  • Keep visitor & membership information organized & complete
  • Coordinate EDC Stay & Play Shuttle applications & documentation
  • provide administrative support to staff as needed

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, WordPress, Canva, connectDaily, social media, Constant Contact, and a healthy willingness to learn.
