Our monthly business luncheon Is held at Red Hawk Casino - KOTO BUFFET, which is typically held on the third Thursday of the month. Our luncheons have a member attendance of 60 to 70 individuals. Networking begins at 11:45 am, followed by the meeting at noon. Each month, we have a new guest speaker who brings valuable insights. The chamber business luncheons provide an excellent platform to connect with other members of the business community and exchange information. Come and hear about Pioneer Community Energy and learn how El Dorado County residents are saving 23 percent on their energy portion of their PG&E bill. Since 2018, Pioneer has saved customers $108 million with another $37 million in savings planned for 2025.
 
Pioneer Community Energy is a community owned, Community Choice Aggregator, (CCA), and not for profit provider of electricity. Pioneer’s board of directors is comprised of elected officials from each of the communities it serves. Pioneer provides service to El Dorado and Placer Counties, including the cities of Auburn, Colfax, Grass Valley, Lincoln, Nevada City, Placerville, Rocklin and Town of Loomis. In October 2027, Pioneer will be expanding into Butte, Glenn, Nevada, Sutter and Tuolumne Counties, along with Chico, Live Oak, Oroville, Orland, Sonora, Willows, Yuba City, and Town of Paradise.
