Guest Speaker: El Dorado County Sheriff Jeff Leikauf
Jeff began his career with the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office as a Correctional Officer on October 20, 1990. Over his 34-year tenure, he has been assigned to both the Custody and Operations Divisions. On January 3, 2023, Jeff was sworn in as El Dorado County’s 33rd Sheriff. Throughout his career, Jeff has held collateral assignments or overseen nearly every unit within the Sheriff’s Office.
Jeff is a dedicated coach and advocate for youth sports and activities throughout El Dorado County. He is actively involved in several civic and community organizations that promote healthy and positive activities, striving to enhance the quality of life for all residents of the county.
Jeff lives with his wife, Jenny, in Cameron Park. They have been happily married for 29 years and are the proud parents of four children.
Jeff’s vision and goal is to continue serving the community and citizens of El Dorado County, acting as a minister of goodwill to ensure that El Dorado County remains the safest place to live, work, play, and raise a family.
Our monthly business luncheon Is held at Red Hawk Casino - KOTO BUFFET, which is typically held on the third Thursday of the month. Our luncheons have a member attendance of 60 to 70 individuals. Networking begins at 11:45 am, followed by the meeting at noon. Each month, we have a new guest speaker who brings valuable insights. The chamber business luncheons provide an excellent platform to connect with other members of the business community and exchange information.
