About
2020 marked 50 years that MORE has been serving adults with developmental disabilities in El Dorado County. MORE's programs are designed to help individuals become more independent in the community and to help reach their full potential. MORE's mission is to empower individuals to enhance their quality of life.
The organization began serving 13 individuals on December 9, 1973. They now serve 225 adults with disabilities daily through five different programs: Supported Employment, Community Access Program, Creative Arts, Creative Options & Opportunities for People (Autism Spectrum Disorder Program) and Semi-Independent Living Residential Programs. MORE also has a wonderful Creative Arts Program and have an art gallery registered with the El Dorado Arts Council as ''Something MORE Artists Gallery.'' MORE's vision is Full Inclusion for All People!
In 2021, MORE moved back into our newly renovated building with a commercial kitchen, huge dining facility, media arts center, art studios, computer lab and performing arts room. The ''bar has been raised'' for services to people with IDD. -
