The Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians is a federally recognized tribe with an independent, sovereign tribal government led by a seven-member elected Tribal Council.
The Tribe owns and operates the award-winning Red Hawk Resort + Casino.
Our Shingle Springs Health & Wellness Center provides comprehensive health and wellness services in a culturally sensitive way that promotes trust and confidence in a safe environment. The Health & Wellness Center is open to both Natives and non-Natives. We accept Medicare, Medi-Cal/Managed Care, in addition to a wide range of PPOs.

The Health and Wellness Center is the first in the country to provide voter registration on tribal land.
The Shingle Springs Tribal TANF program serves eligible Native American families in El Dorado County. Our program provides important tools and teaches skills to empower Native families to achieve self-sufficiency.
